Ankara Climate
Ankara experiences a climate that shares many similarities with most parts of Turkey. In other words Ankara climate is mild and continental in character, with four easily distinguishable seasons. Winters in Ankara are rather short but quite often cold and frost, occasionally becoming snowy.
Ankara’s summers are considerably more appealing, characterised by long, sunny, dry and hot (though pleasantly so) days. Temperatures during July and August – considered by many to posses the finest weather in Ankara – frequently exceed the 30°C / 86°F mark.
